We offer 3-year-old preschool, free 4-year-old preschool, and wrap-around childcare at Corse Early Childhood Center, where our Grayhound pups learn and build upon skills that will set the stage for future educational success.
If your child will be 3 years old on or before Sept. 15, 2024, he or she is eligible to attend the Grayhound 3-year-old Preschool Program.

3-year-old Grayhound Preschool is a tuition-based program with scholarships available.

- Classes meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday either in the morning or afternoon for 3 hours

4-year-old preschool
4-year-old Grayhound Preschool is a free program paid for by the State of Iowa.
Benefits:
- Follows Iowa Quality Preschool Program Standards
- Uses Creative Curriculum — Classrooms structured around 11 interest areas: blocks, art, library, discovery, sand and water, music and movement, cooking, outdoor activity, computer technology, dramatic play, and toys and games.
- A licensed teacher who is responsible for designing & implementing effective learning environments using instructional strategies to enhance children’s learning.
- A minimum of 12 hours per week of quality preschool instruction.
- High program and learning standards
- Appropriate adult-child ratio of 1:10
- Utilizes Teaching Strategies GOLD for assessments
General Information:
- Classes meet Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday either in the morning or afternoon for 3 hours
